What is a Calendar?
- A calendar shows days, weeks, and months.
- It helps us know today’s date, yesterday, and tomorrow.
- We use a calendar to remember events and holidays.
🗓️ Parts of a Calendar
- Days of the week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Months of the year: January to December
- Dates (numbers): 1, 2, 3 … up to 30 or 31
🔢 Reading a Calendar
- Look at the top → it shows the month
- Look at the rows → they show the weeks
- Look at the columns → they show the days
- Find the number (date) in the box
👉 Example:
If the number 10 is under Wednesday, then
➡️ It is Wednesday, the 10th
