More, less and equally likely
Introduction
- Hi grade 1 friends! Today, we’re going to learn about something super fun with spinners!
What is a Spinner?
- A spinner is a cool tool that helps us see what might happen when we spin it. It has different parts that can land on different things, like colors or numbers!

More Likely
- Sometimes, one part of the spinner might be bigger. That means it’s more likely to land on that part! Like if there are more red spaces, it’s more likely to land on red!

Less Likely
- But sometimes, a part might be smaller. That means it’s less likely to land on that part. If there are only a few blue spaces, it’s less likely to land on blue.

Equally Likely
- Sometimes, all the parts of the spinner are the same size. That means each part is equally likely to land when we spin it!

Conclusion
- Great job, grade 1 friends! Today, we learned about more likely, less likely, and equally likely with spinners. Keep practicing and you’ll become spinner experts!
