Flip (Reflection)

• Flip means turning over a shape like in a mirror.
• It looks like a mirror image.
• The shape changes direction but keeps the same size and shape.
• Example: A letter b flipped becomes d.

• Turn means spinning a shape around a point.
• It can turn left or right.
• The shape stays the same size and shape.
• Example: A triangle turned upside down is still a triangle.

• Slide means moving a shape from one place to another.
• It does not turn or flip.
• The shape stays exactly the same.
• Example: Moving a square to the right without changing it.
