| How to Make a Contraction |
- Take the pronoun + verb
- Remove the letter(s) from the verb
- Add an apostrophe (’) in place of the missing letters
💡 Example: do not → don’t
- The letter o in “not” is removed and replaced with ’ → don’t
- Contractions make speaking faster and easier 🏃♂️💨
