- A command is a sentence that tells someone to do something.
- It usually starts with a verb (action word) πββοΈ.
- A command often ends with a full stop (.) or sometimes an exclamation mark (!) β

- It tells you what to do.
- The subject βyouβ is usually understood (not written).
- Example: βClose the door.β πͺ (It means You close the door.)
- It uses an action word at the beginning.
- Commands are also called imperative sentences βοΈ.
- They give orders, requests, or instructions π‘.
- Examples:
- Order: βStand up!β πββοΈ
- Request: βPlease pass the pencil.β βοΈ
- Instruction: βDraw a circle.β βͺ
