1️⃣ What is Regrouping?

Regrouping means carrying over when the sum of the ones place is more than 9.

Example: 27+527 + 527+5 → Ones: 7+5=127 + 5 = 127+5=12 ✅

• Write 2 in ones place 🟢
• Carry 1 to tens place 🔵

2️⃣ Steps to Add with Regrouping ✏️

Add the ones first 🖐️

• If sum ≥ 10 → regroup!

Carry over the extra ten 🔄

• Add it to the tens place.

• Ones: 8+7=158 + 7 = 158+7=15 → Write 5, carry 1
