Adding zero
Design by Delta publications
Key Notes:-
What does it mean to add zero?
When we add zero to a number, the number stays the same. Zero means “nothing,” so nothing is added.
Examples:
- 3 + 0 = 3
- 7 + 0 = 7
- 0 + 5 = 5
- 10 + 0 = 10
Remember:
Adding zero does not change the number!
Fun Tip:
Think of zero as an invisible friend. If you have 4 apples and your invisible friend brings 0 more, you still have 4 apples!
Practice:
- 6 + 0 = ___
- 0 + 9 = ___
- 2 + 0 = ___
- 0 + 8 = ___
Key Point:
