- Even numbers can be divided into two equal groups without anything left over.
- They end with 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8. β
- Examples: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
- Fun Tip: Share cookies πͺ with a friend. If both get the same amount, itβs even!
Odd Numbers β
- Odd numbers cannot be divided into two equal groups.
- They end with 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9. β
- Examples: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
- Fun Tip: Try sharing 5 apples πππππ with a friend. One apple will be left! Thatβs odd.

Look at the last digit of a number:
