🔢 What is a Number Line?

➡️ A number line is a straight line with numbers placed in order from left to right.
➡️ It helps us count, compare, and add or subtract numbers easily!

👉 Numbers start from 0 or 1 and go up to 100.
👉 Each number has its own equal space on the line.
👉 Moving right ➡️ means counting forward (numbers get bigger).
👉 Moving left ⬅️ means counting backward (numbers get smaller).

➡️ 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, … 100
➕ Move right from 5 to 8 → numbers increase
➖ Move left from 8 to 5 → numbers decrease

✨ Example: 4 + 3 = ?
Start at 4, move 3 steps to the right → You land on 7! 🎯

💡 Using Number Lines for Subtraction

✨ Example: 9 – 2 = ?
Start at 9, move 2 steps to the left → You land on 7! 🎯

🌟 Numbers increase as you go right ➡️
🌟 Numbers decrease as you go left ⬅️
🌟 Always start counting from 0 or 1.

Try drawing your own number line with different colors 🎨 and stickers 🌟 for every 10 numbers —
Example:
🔵 0–10, 🔴 11–20, 🟢 21–30, 🟡 31–40, … up to 💜 91–100
